   The Biyaya Animal Sanctuary, located in Alfonso, Cavite, is a safe haven for rescued stray animals—primarily Aspins and Puspins—who have endured neglect, abuse, or abandonment. Founded on the vision of a #StrayFreeRabiesFreePhilippines by 2035, the sanctuary provides holistic care that addresses not only the physical health of animals but also their emotional and social well-being. In line with its mission, the sanctuary offers immersive experiences for volunteers, advocates, and animal welfare enthusiasts to engage directly with its operations. The “Day at the Shelter” program is designed to provide participants with a deeper understanding of the challenges and triumphs of animal rescue and rehabilitation. It also serves as a platform to promote responsible pet ownership, community-based animal welfare, and sustainable advocacy.
